Doja - Isn't that how the *bad* things started ?
Will it help my tummy ache?
That’s interesting. They used an image of Kumonryu Shishin. 🤔
Is this gi any good? Worth the price or nah?
Yes this gi is good, ive had the heros and the light weight kitsune gis and they are true to size and hold up ver well. Have had both for over a year
ABSOLUTELY.
I have a different design but essentially the same gi. It's very lightweight and soft. After a year the kimono is showing wear with tears on the lapel. But I wash it almost every time after I use it. I also used to run it through the dryer because sometimes the collar/lapel wouldn't dry properly and would have a slight odor. The pants were showing significant wear with the knees about to rip out. There was a tiny tear in the but. After the last wash the but was completely torn out. Overall I think it was worth the money.
I forgot to mention that I train 4 days a week to give you a sense of the kind of wear that I put it through.
Gah I spelled butt wrong twice. Time to go to bed.
I have this Gi in the royal blue, it is VERY light. My daughter absolutely loves it. I also have Spectre, Views and Dawn, feel its a different cut, the pants feel like air, but sturdy. This gi doesn’t have the extra patches that Spectre and Views have but still Solid.
I find value in kitsune's cut, the A1XL is my fave fit
@ saghaulor whadaya mean you wash it almost every time you use it? Good idea to wash your gis every time, keeps odors from sinking in and bacteria build up away. Also your training partners will appreciate it lol
@jordan blea you're absolutely right. The California sun can dry and sanitize pretty well. If I don't sweat much during a light session I might go that route. I always give a sniff test first. If it's a little stinky I wash it and wear a backup gi.
Your gross dude. I don't want to roll with anyone that determines if their gi is clean with a "sniff test". I don't have to sniff my gear before I train because I know it's clean because I washed it.
Just wait until the navy 93brand unbrandeds come back. It’s the same thing but less money.
Ive got a sizing question. Im about 5’10 170, but a2 pants fall off my waist. Would A1L be the way to go? Ive tried shrinking pants but still having to pull the draw string all the way. Are the cut in the jackets significant?
I'm the same height and weight. I have an A2 and I find it fits me pretty well. I do have to pull the drawstrings tight but it's a non-issue. It's a bit of a looser fit but I prefer that over tight and restrictive.
Whoever snags this deal is lucky but who’s more lucky is rickson gracie that i didnt come up at the same time he did cuz i wouldve submitted both him and you (person reading this comment)
