Well, they're doing no gi stuff too chief ... And in every no gi competition I've ever been to (over 40) there is always at least one guy wearing wrestling shoes ... Plus, I travel a lot to cross train with other gyms and since I don't personally oversee the cleaning of those mats, I like to maintain a high level sanitary practice.

But if you watch Demian Maia get owned by Munoz, you'd see that superior wrestling can stall out great bjj ... Also evident in the Almeida/Hughes fight ... Therefore, those of us who want to be complete fighters are forced to crosstrain ... My gym is great for bjj, but I need more ... So I go to another gym to get in some pure wrestling and occasionally go to crosstrain with a buddy that has masterfully tranformed judo techniques for mma ... If you want to get better, you have to expose yourself to different disciplines ...

Well according to Vulkan's size chart, I would be an A0, but is the A1 THAT much bigger? I usually wear an A1 in most brands but Vulkans look to run a bit larger.
