People buy into the “bjj gi’s need to be tarps” schtick a little much i think. Ive had my Flow lightweight gi for 3 years and no rips. I dont compete tho tbf.
Looks decent but I have a feeling it'd get see-through with a good sweat.

Looks like it. Only other company I’ve seen do something similar is Ka’yo Kimonos. They did it specifically for people who travel but still wanna train.
Globetrotters and a few others have these too.

This is my travel gi. Packs down at least half the size of a pearl weave. Dries faster. Better material than globetrotters. Think supernatural survival gear has one but I don't own one.
I have a couple of the Kauai Kimonos, they may have been one of the first, possibly the best rip stops.

Ripstop is basically what they used for army/marine corps BDU types back in the day, very thin, very light especially if ur trying to choke someone with it
