Aesthetic "Tiger" Gi

I previously got the Aesthetic all black gi from here. It looks sleek but I would not recommmend their gi's based off of it. It is supposed to be light but it feels like wearing a lead blanket when I train in it. Compared to other gi's it makes me sweat profusely. The top is ill-fitting. While the pants fit nicely, the ripstop is "grainy" and not soft on the skin at all especially when starting from knees.

In my experience i find either 93's size charts are inaccurate, the garment specs are inconsistent or my body is constantly changing. i am currently 5'5" 155lbs and the size small fits perfect while medium is loose in the waist and baggy in the legs.

Fernando I am 5'5" 140-142 lbs approx. I own this gi in A1 and it is the right size but keep in mind the lengths of arm sleeves and pants legs are really long. I had to hot wash and dry to shrink it down. Its def a light weight and looks awesome. It "grows" however with pulling, tugging and sweating and can seem heavy when rolling becuz of this.

Shawn. I am same measurements as you. In Fuji I wear A1. A0 will prob end up waaayy too tight on you and me. They fit nice and slim like a well tailored suit. In my opinion best gis on the market for fit, durability and price.

Regarding Armbar Soap. The owner has a nice story. A humble grass roots kinda guy . He trains BJJ. The packaging and branding on the products is very tasteful not garish like a lot of MMA geared products. The soaps themselves have a lot of proven bacteria and fungus fighting botanicals such as tea tree and skin softeners like jojoba. All at a fair price of $5 for a fat bar. All in alll pretty sweet.

The premium ingredients they use in these soaps make your alin literally squeak clean after you are done. none of the fragrances are strong and overpowering, but mild and soothing. A 5 pack will last you about a month. Even my wife likes using it and she doesn't even train because of how refreshed her skin feels after using it. This is why I think it is better than regular soap. Also my health food store sells generic tea tree soap really cheap but it has no packaging and you buy it right off the shelf where everyone gets their grubby hands on i . To me that is not appealing. These soaps come in minimally branded tasteful packaging g. You will appear to be a grappling gentleman who knows his stuff... Stay thirsty my friends!

When you look close at the weave it doesn't have the little pearl shapes that the fabric of pearl weave has. It's more stretchy in my experience and easier softer for the opponent to pull stretch and control your gi. Hope this helps. I didn't like my gold weave Keiko for this reason
