Storm's original flagship Gi.$125
Guys, how about some blue single weave KF kimonos? Those are hard to come by now days!
That is not much of a deal.... http://www.fightersmarket.com/Storm-Typhoon-Jiu-Jitsu-Gi-Blue-p/k143.htm
Will try to do better on the next Storm sale, but Storm is sooo hard to get. This our first one and that Fightersmarket sale (which ours beats) is one of the only Storm sale I've seen ever.
You know Storm kimonos go for like $190-$220 usually right? It actually is a good deal.
How do they fit? Are they true to size chart. I am 5'10 235lbs, 38 waist, 52" chest.
me and several people in my club bought this gi. bad experience for most of us as the quality is poor. i would not recommend it. go with shoyoroll, thats a really great gi !
in before shoyoroll debate.
;)
Sizes look like they're for big guys. A3 is 5'9"-6'1" from 175-210 lb. I'm 5;11" and 154...40" chest and 30" waist and monkey arms. Anybody have opinions on the best fitting gi for us lean fighters?
rash guaRD needed , please hook it up!!!!
I'm not sure if the Typhoon fits the same way, but I own the T2 and the pants are a little short and the jacket is a little slim and REALLY long both in the sleeves and tails. I am 5'9" 160 lbs. and I have freakishly long arms so the extra long arms are great for me, but others may not be so enthused. Again, I can only attest to the T2 Storm gi, but it is easily the best gi I have worn. Fantastic pants aside from being a little short, and the collar is amazing! Other gis I have tried include: Fuji Single/Lightweight, Atama Gold/Single, Tatami Estilo 3.0, Vulkan Pro Light/Ultra Light, CynerGi, Gameness Elite/Feather/Air/Pearl/Platinum, Kingz 420, Infinity) I know that the Typhoon normally sells for $180 off the Storm website, its their 'cheapest' gi but to be perfectly honest...they don't make anything that sucks!
