Very disappointed! It took 1 week before they offered blue because the white inventory was off ... then another week and I reach out to see order status to find out the blue was not available. Check your inventory prior to offering an alternate ... I guess you cann afford to have poor CS and throwaway business.

I ordered last night! Fuji Victory is shown on all other websites having the logo embroidered on the sleeve. Does this have blank sleeves as pictured, or logo sleeves like all other Fuji Victory?

Bought this gi months ago - no complaints and it seems like it will last forever.

I'm 5'8", 135 (I was a long distance runner for a long time so gi's are tricky for me).
I bought the A3 and purposely washed it to shrink. The sleeves shrank about an inch and same with the pants. Results = perfect length but VERY roomy. Doesn't get in the way and I just cinch up the pants really tight (I have a 28" waist). I kinda like it because it doesn't restrict my movements at all like my "better" fitting gi sometimes does.

Tough to tell. I'm 6'1" 210 and I fit into an A3. A4 or 5 you may be swimming at 5'8. In my blue Fuji I do have plenty of room around the middle to spare.

I'm the same height but about 240, and I use an A3. I had to shrink the pants a bit since they were pretty long on me, but after that it was perfect. I don't have a Fuji though, I'm not sure how much variation there is among the different brands.

Thanks for the help with the sizing, guys (and for last time ;)... ). BJJHQ, I know many people make requests or suggestions on deals, so I hope this post isn't considered off-topic:

Have you ever considered having a deal on a pack of Fight Soap or a similar product? I follow you guys pretty religiously (even before making an account), but I haven't seen anything on a soap made for mat rats. Selling one bar at a time might be too much (S&H would cost as much as the soap), but maybe a pack or something? I checked out MAS to see if I could order some, but I couldn't find any. What do you think?

I've used Arm Bar soap (www.armbarsoap.com) and love it. It smells, feels, and works great. And it's cheaper than fight soap. You can also buy packs in many sizes. Would be cool if it were carried here!

I made the mistake and purchase an A2 when in fact, I needed an A3. I'm 5'9" and 175lbs. I'll be purchasing an A3 (in this particular gi) the next time around. It's a little tricky, but almost like playing trial an error, based on the manufacturer.

I am 6'1" and 280lbs and my last fuji size A5 the pants fit perfectly and the jacket was a bit big but shrank. I believe the A5 is a 41inch waist but it ties up. A6 would be a tent.

I usually wear an A1 (5'5) in just about every other brand. But I have 2 Fuji A2 gi's and one of them has shrunk beyond use.
If go 1-2 sizes bigger than usual and shrink to fit if required.

I'm 5'9", 180 and I wear A2. It fits me perfect right out of the package. I'm sure if I threw it in the dryer, it would shrink, but I hang dry it. The kimono hugs me like a straight jacket (which I prefer).

I own the white and black Fuji like whats listed here.

    Good luck guys!

I wouldn't use this gi for competition. It's fairly heavier than comparable gis and the fabric feels thick.

This is a great gi for training and a good way to fill out your rotation.

5'7" and 165 lbs (mostly in the legs)... do I go with the A2? My Grab&Pull gi is A2 and fits me just right. The reviews sound pretty decent on this one, so I think I'm going to pull the trigger.

Has anyone used this gi or the Fuji brand before? I read it's a little loose in the midsection if you have an athletic build?

Do NOT get the A1 if you are 5'6" and 140. I have this in an A1 and, I swear, some days it looks like I am going digging for clams (I am 5'2", 120).

Get the A2. You can always shrink down, but you can't *shrink* up.
