For the first time, Aesthetic's Alpha Gi is available in a brand new colorway.$80
I usually do Nogi, but is it frowned upon if blue belts wear a black gi? An old instructor(who is now out of business so he is probably wrong lol) told me black gi are only for black belts. So whats the verdict?
No, any belt usually can wear any gi. Some more traditional places only allow white and blue gis though. Also, many tournaments only allow blue or white gis.
Thanks man
Black kimonos are IBJJF legal for most belts, except for black belts in tournaments that specifically require royal blue vs white.

I'm 5'8 and 170lbs which size should I go for?
The review says the original versions came with two sets of pants. Does this one come with two sets of pants?
Unfortunately not on this launch deal!
Zach: your height is an A3 but your weight is an A2. I'm 6'1' as well and honestly prefer the A2 fit even after washing... So my advice is A2. To be totally sure, please compare the measurements in the last pic to your favorite fitting gi. evitigre: A2 should work for you also.

Any idea on the next rolling deals? Also, scramble ranked rash guards or the wave? Thanks!
Aesthetic make amazing Gis. I have the Aurora, and it is lovely and soft as hell. Has held up for the last 6 months really well with regular training. They are a great cut, and have a nice short skirt. Very much worth it especially at this price!
