Super light - with a honey comb weaved fabric and a rubber lapel.$89
blue or black gi please!!!
black gis are for ninjas
amen
5'9 and 215lbs ... what size ????
Probably an A3. The sleeves and pants will probably be a bit long, but if you get the A2 it'll be too tight for sure. I think having longer sleeves is a better trade off than having a tight gi. Sleeves can always be hemmed if the length is bothersome.
6'4 long arms and legs, but a lean 190. Sounds like an A4 is that right? I'd rather have a slimmer fit with the A3 but if there is a big difference in the arm / leg length that would be important. If its a 1/4 inch no big deal, if its an inch or 2, big deal. Also does anyone have any comparison to the the Vulcan Pro light compared to the Ultra light? According to the web site "uses a special Honey Comb Weave and Rubber Lapel that makes it light, durable and fast drying". The pro light starts at 2.8 pounds and the ultra light starts at 2.4 pounds. Reviews I have read had people liking the pro more than the ultra light. Also spoke about both gis stretching during practice but regaining shape after being washed.
The Ultra Light is much lighter, one of the lightest gis 'evarrrrr'. The Pro Light is still comfortable, but the Ultra Light is just silly light. Never trained in an Ultra Light but my Pro Light has never stretched at all, it's one sturdy Gi. I'm 6'1" or 6'2" and the A3 is the perfect length in terms of sleeves and pants. If you avoid shrinking the gi, I think A3 would work for you... But if you like to put your gi in the dryer and prefer a more generous cut, then you should go with A4.
So would have bought one if it was the white pro light and not the ultra light.
Not sure what size to get, 6'2" but only 170 lbs with long, skinny arms and legs.....A2 or A3?
A3... the A2 sleeves will be too short for sure. I know from experience :(
Dammit I should have listened to you before all the A3s sold out
lookin good! i wish the pants had the elastic crotch though.. thats where all mine rip after awhile
