I've had this Gi for about 2 years, and never had any problem of ripping! If you dry it too hot, it does melt the lapel, but all the gis that have rubber lapel do that. One of my favorite gis, The pro light is top of the line and I would recommend that to anyone! It is really comfortable, and fits great. Hope to see a navy blue Vulkan as well...

I totally concur with "Labchimp's" comments. I ordered this gi some months ago (in black) and from the beginning, I was not impressed with quality or workmanship. It's an extremely light gi and as some other gi's, the top is very large and and the bottom fits the specified size. In addition, the pants are of very low quality and shrinks once washed. This is not a gi for daily use.

I didn't think it was low quality at all. Pretty good light gi for 135$. I have been wearing it once or twice a week for BJJ or Judo for the last year and no rips yet.

I have had my black one for 2 years, and no signs of wear and tear. The only thing is the black on the kimono has faded from washing, but pants and top are both still in great shape

Oh... I forgot about the fading! It does fade after a few washes though. I've been using this gi twice per week for the past 7 months and it looks like it's been used for 7 years. The pants have shrunken and quite frankly, don't fit so I use another pants. I certainly won't make the investment in this gi again. On the other hand, I also use the Fuji (black) and the cost was $80 as opposed to $135 and the Fuji has served me well.

Just a heads up, the gi material on the top is ok, but the vulcanized neck will shrivel if you put it in the dryer. Pants are extremely low quality, mine ripped in < 3 months. This is pretty much a competition gi, not made to take daily training.

I have the Ultra light and use it for normal training I've had it almost a year. Def shrinks in the wash even though it says Pre shrunk but have not been hit with the ripping. Aaron would you be able to bring a good quality Navy Blue gi anytime soon. ie. Koral MKM, Vulka Navy blue? please?
