On the beaches of Recife, Brazil, it's warm and sunny from January to January.$120
The sizing picture is kinda cut off, but dimension 'C' is the wingspan of the arms.
I like this Gi alot, anyone have a recommendation for someone 6ft, 245 pounds?
What are your size suggestions for 6'2" and 210lbs?
You'd probably be well suited in an A3. Happy Grappling!
It would be super awesome if any time you guys sold a gi, you could include the actual weight of the gi -- or even just one size of it. Example: A-3 wieghs 4.1 lbs . Also would always be nice to know if gi is IBJJF approved. Thanks...love this place
Hi Morgz: Pre-wash, the A3 Recife is approx 4.2 lbs.
Hey dudes. Keen on buying this Gi, does anyone have a size recommendation for someone that's 5'6 and 70Kgs? I like them to be a wee bit shorter and I'm not a fan of baggy arms. Cheers guys!
I think you'd be pleased with the A1. The "bagginess" of the arms is very specific to body type and not something we hear often. The actual cut of the gi fits nicely under the arm pits, so it shouldn't have that sloppy oversized square feel. Hope that helps!
I'm 5'6", 150 lbs. Any recommendations on size? This'll be my first gi, so I don't have anything else to compare it to, so I don't know what fits.
Hey Alicks - we'd recommend an A1. This would be an awesome first gi!
What size would you recommend for me? 5'11'' 240-250ibs. Thank you!
How much does the gi shrink?
Sounds like an A4 might fit the bill. When washed cold and air dried as recommended, shrinking is negligible. Thanks!
Thank you for your quick reply!
Fushida Gi's in the future?
5'8", 174lbs (dense guy) Sizing?
You should be happy with an A2 based on your height/weight :)
I'm 6'0 and 155lbs, is that an A2?
Yep you should be good with an A2 :)
What would you guys recomend for a 5ft'9in 140-150lbs? Looks like a pretty awesome Gi
Based on your height I'd think you might want to go with the A2.
Is this IBJJF approved?
You'll need to remove the pant and sleeve cuffs to wear at IBJJF tournaments, but otherwise the gi is compliant. It should only take about 5 mins to carefully remove the ribbons and there will not be any damage to the structural integrity of the gi.... and it will still be aesthetically pleasing :)
is this gi competition fit? and also I'm 5'11" about 180lbs what size would you prefer...looks like an awesome gi!
recommend*
Hey Nico - We'd recommend the A2 based on your height and weight. Hope you enjoy it!
Awesome looking gi! I want to buy however was not to sure on the size. I am 5'4" and 135lbs, what size would you recomend A0 or A1. I usually like my gi to be fitted.
You're probably right on the cusp of both sizes fitting you. But if you specifically want a fitted look and feel, you might go for the A0.
any reviews or anything about this gi??
Bought one about a month ago and I would have to say it is a pretty awesome gi. Little baggy in the arms though but other than that it is nice.
Thanks for the feedback Adam!
No problem just trying to get you guys some exposure as a lot of people have not heard of you. But I think your product is top notch.
is this allowed in competition? waiting on response to buy. thanks
Hi Nico - the athletes who are competing at Pans right now removed the ONDA ribbon from the cuffs to ensure that there was no violation of rules. The ribbon on the bottom of the jacket is allowed though. With that being said, the gi still looks pretty cool without the pant/jacket cuffs and took about 10 mins to remove according to one competitor. Some non-IBJJF tournaments have allowed the cuffs to remain in place. The placement of patches is compliant per page 30 of this guide http://www.ibjjf.org/docs/rulesibjjf1stedition.pdf Hope that helps!
hi i am 5'8 185 pound what size would you recommend me you only carry this gi in white?
Hi Reinhard- You're probably an A2 with that weight/height. We have other models in black with silver accents, white with silver accents, and blue with navy blue accents on our website as well. Thanks!
