Depends on how you want it to fit. A1 is going to be a little snug out of the bag, but if you like a tighter fit will probably be good. A2 you will most likely need to shrink, but if you like a looser fit its the way to go.

The A3 and A4 are both roomy, but the A4 has about 11 more HP and better traction control. I'd probably go for the A4.

Manto runs a little big, DEFINITELY get a1. I'm 6'2" and 175 lbs. I wear Manto A2... AND I've washed/dried slightly.

At my school black gis are reserved for the gold belts. Only after you've mastered every move in the Katogensai Karate system are you promoted to gold belt. My master thinks I'll be there within the next 2 years :)!! I can't wait.
