Inverted Gear's Gis have always been a hit.$99
Can anyone please tell me if the A1S is the same size as the A1 T/S? I'm 5'11 And 145lbs and hopING this will work for me but the sizes explained is A1S not A1 T/S. and I know how picky the hq is about returns or exchanges
Hoping that it is cause I just bought it....
Yes they are- while many companies call them "s" sizes inverted calls them "ts" (unless I'm remembering wrong and it's the other way round.) either way that sounds like the right size.
Well it's bought.
The S means tall/slim size
It's basically an A2 for a skinnier person
That's an amazing price for this gi. I'd buy one if I didn't already have 2 white and a black one... and a gold weave panda and a panda air. So yeah, I guess maybe I should resist the urge this time. Lol
I just bought a Vulkan A3. Since these are sold out in A3, could I fit in a A2H? I'm 5'11, 230lb, thick in the middle.
Aaron you have an A4 back there? Damn.
My sons practice judo. Would this gi be sturdy enough for judo? Also, do these run big or small? I'd hate to ask for an exchange.
BJJ gis are not legal for judo - they are cut much slimmer. Judo gis are also a lot cheaper. And BJJHQ doesn't do exchanges.
If you go to rollmore.com they have a Fuji judo gi for sale there for under 70$ - like was said above, Judo gis are generally less expensive than bjj gis. http://www.rollmore.com/fuji-usa-single.html
Typically if the gi is sturdy enough for judo it's super thick weave and you could have 2x for the price
No this is not a judo gi. They have a different fit with larger sleeves and cuffs. You need a judo gi.
Thanks everyone for the advice.
It's so tempting. I already have a blue and a black Inverted Gear gi.
