    I'm about 160 lbs, and between 5'10" & 5'11." Should I go A2 or A2L? I'm hearing that they run a little big.
Also, any chance it will get to Connecticut before Christmas?

Thomas - it will ship from NY on Monday. Depending where you in CT there's a shot that it will get there on Tuesday, but this time of year I would not rely on it.

I have the A4 and the A3H, I'm 6' with a 34 in sleeve and they both fit just right in the sleeve after washing. As I'm a stocky guy the A3H fits much better in the chest but the pants were tight. The A4 pants were perfect and I have a 32in inseam with jeans.

Hey Joe Jitsu, could you give me the model and size of other gis you own? I'm sort of leaning towards getting an A2L, but I just want to make absolutely sure. If it's not too much trouble, could you give me the cuff to cuff measurement of that A2L you have? I'd really appreciate it, buddy. Thanks.

Very nice looking gi - love the clean design.

Question for owners of gis with ripstop pants: how does the ripstop material perform versus canvas/cotton in terms of stretch/wash/wear, and most importantly, grips?

I've had the pro series 2 in black for awhile now. I own several Gis but find myself grabbing this one constantly. It's a great Gi. Light comfortable and very durable. Stitching still looks great and I roll in this several times a week.

My rGameness ripstop gi pants hold up great. I haven't noticed any significant stretching. Canvas pants are easier to hold onto, in my opinion. I've been rolling in them for more than a year.

In my experience with this brand and a few others with ripstop pants...they don't stretch. Cotton twill pants stretch.

I boycotted BJJHQ for a year because they sent my order to someone else and told me oh well he wanted to keep it. then I have them a 2nd chance and they confirm an order then tell me they gave it to second else. now keep in mind each time I ordered I dropped about $500 during rolling deals. then when u email them about it they basically say "Oh Well. This never happens" but it happened to me twice. A company should not be judged by what they do when everything goes right, but rather by how they treat customers when things go wrong.

Uncle, coming on BJJHQ.COM and complaining the way you are is only going to get negative attention and comments! If you have had such a bad experience, why are you "dropping about $500 during rolling deals"??? I say you continue to boycott them and maybe even make a big sign and post it outside your house. Lemme know how that goes for youu!
Either way, BJJHQ.COM is an amazing site with outstanding customer service...
Buying $500 worth of Jitz gear is like buying a pair of Jordans and thinking you can play basketball... The fraud always comes out on the mat homie!

Uncle Tony - sorry we screwed up your orders... twice. We are human beings and we do slap the wrong labels on packages occasionally. The mistakes are not often - we piss people off and lose money when that happens and we do our best to not make mistakes. Anyways, my apologies for those errors.

@AD so because I buy gear I cant roll. spending $500 on gear is very easy to do. you must be a broke ass rolling in a brown/ gray gi that started off white, and smells like cat piss. you can continue to kiss bjjhq's ass and see how that works out for you. do they pay your bills, no. we already know you don't buy anything, since that makes you a fraud, so why are you even on here AD. no name no pic on your profile, talk about fraud.

@Aaron so you admit that you have poor workflow, and "occasionally" make mistakes. please tell what you are doing to improve this. its happened twice to the same customer. a customer that when they order, orders a lot. if you are OK with mediocrity there will be nothing I say that will matter, and it will prove that you don't care about anything other than how much money you make. if you do not see that I am right Aaron, then you seriously need a management overhaul.
