@Ninjacam - I'm Italian, so my grandma's couch is still covered in thick plastic, which is problematic for flash photography. In all seriousness though, uploading images might be a feature that we get right of.. potentially in favor of a GIF generator (a la GIPHY / social media GIF galleries). Nobody really uses the image uploader for anything useful. Possibly ever in the history of BJJHQ lol.

I snagged the 93brand ones. I was dissapointed. They didnt conform to the body, has a giant sag at the crotch (you might fit them well with your blue balls. I would avoid microwaves, as your balls may never fit in any pair sweats again). They are slim fit as well which depends on your preference.

Workin' on getting more as soon as Armbar Soap can pump out a full batch for the demands of you lovely HQ people. And i mean LOVELY. Have you seen the comments here? Lovely is an understatement!

Only difference is I changed the profile pic and username. Which anybody can do* but there are only a couple of us. You'll know it's an official comment if it says 'VERIFIED ADMIN' next to the username in smaller text (though that badge doesnt show up on the app, only on computer or mobile browser).

With a swift change of profile pic from a dark photo of rashguard to a bright sea-foam green "HQ" logo, we see how a seemingly minor development in a story can turn an everyday tale into a thriller of epic proportions!

(srsly though we've been commenting since day one! gotta pop in throughout the day for people's feedback, answer sincere questions etc)

We've had similar thoughts, and there are changes coming to the comment section when we relaunch, definitely. Not planning on making the new comment section based on past expenses (although we are playing with some ideas for some possible perks for repeat/regular cstmrs).

The site redesign is pretty much ready to go, but we underestimated how much time (and money, ouchh) it takes to make the appropriate changes to the mobile apps. Basically had to start both iOS and Android mobile apps from scratch. Pricey but it'll end up with a muuuuch better flow IMO. And much needed aesthetic facelift :) Almost done!
Mostly user experience / visual updates, but there will be some small tweaks to function... 1 of 'em being structuring the comments. Not sure which direction to go with it, exactly. Posting wont be changed drastically, it's just one of several moving pieces to help declutter the layout, smoothen the flow, focus better on the product (img quality / proportions), improving efficiency/utility of comments, & experiments with reviews, comparisons, messaging etc. Hope y'all like the new HQ when it gets here!

hi! That is actually me modeling the female version. I love these. Super soft updated fabric. the high waist ensures no falling down when training hard, also no pinching into your sides. and I love the small detail of the logo printed on the waist band. highly recommend.

I have both of these actually and they are my new favorites... the fabric softness is unlike any spats I've had. Soooo flattering and comfy

The problem is not the negative reviews, but rather the dweebs that are posting nonsense stuff like dongs, chimp, etc.. they're not really contributing anything useful

You're upset that we said please don't impersonate our admins?
Why would someone need to impersonate a business' customer service rep in order to give you insight into the product? Spoiler: they don't. They do it to, at best, be silly trolls.. at worst, to be rude and confuse real customers / deceive them into thinking our staff is being rude. If you don't think that's the sort of content we should discourage or delete or ban... i suggest tweeting about it ;)

That said, I'm assuming you misunderstood the comment and are paranoid about free speech. I forgive you. Anyone who's been here more than a day can see that we are very easy going about banning - in spite of the page reading 'No trolling or off topic posts'

@whitebelt - Thats a valid complaint. Even still, we dont delete for that reason - we’ve never deleted a comment because of negative feedback related to HQ or a product - only time we would is if the comment included inappropriate stuff, e.g. vulgarities / insults or needless desparaging of a model’s physical appearance.

In regards to professionalism though it seems like you dont really give a damn about making money.
Which is perfectly fine, after all it is your business.
But getting triggered and commenting towards your target consumers is a wildly terrible way of making money.

Scroll up and see the comment that says "What a troll. Lol" - likely a reference to a comment i deleted 7hrs ago w/fake acct posing as Admin. Doesn't happen often, which is why it's never been a topic (and still not sure why Skeet is so focused on the topic). Before today, hasnt happened since 2020 (when someone was using staff member's profile pic / name pulled from FB and lying to customers).
