How do these fit and do they shrink? I’m 5’11” 170 and prefer a snug fit. A2 or A2L and shrink?
I got one of these and it was my favorite gi untill it shank (shrunked?)it so badly that it became unwearable. I dont THINK i dryed it or anything but i do so much laundry that i wouldnt be surprised if i goofed and threw it in with heat one time.
If you wash and don’t dry, not much shrinkage. But if you dry your gis, it’ll shrink a shit ton. I’m a smaller guy, I buy A2s and they start baggy and end up perfect after drying 1-2 times. I’ve done this with 4 93brand gis. It sounds like an A3 dried a couple times would be good for you
I sized up, but ordered an A2L. I’ll keep your advice in mind and dry til it fits right and air dry from that point on. Thanks!
Man; ive never had shrinking issues with my 93 gis, and i throw them in the dryer all the time
I emailed the company about this last week! Their standard issue gis are not pre-shrunk at all, so they recommended at least 1 size up, 2 if you want to deliberately shrink it to fit.
