If you are afraid to wear a certain color gi, because your instructor/coach would say something to you i feel sorry for you.
Wearing a certain color gi doesnt make you any better/worse at jiu jitsu. Wear whatever the fuck you want.

@Ky the only issue in my experience is that you will always need to remember to close the velcro before you wash it. Otherwise youll risk ruining other articles of clothing, namely your other expensive rashguards/shorts. Sure you can do that, or they could just make shorts without velcro...
