Got the bleached version of this guy, and it has held up just fine. Just a heads up about the pants though, the ripstop material can be a little annoying as it is rough and feels like wearing a burlap sack. If you’ve got baby skin like me, might wanna get some cotton twill pants.

If you dont already follow BJJHQ on insta, i highly recommend. They typically post what will drop for the next day sometime in the early afternoon. That way you dont have to stay up till 11p in order to get there before it is sold out, or find out that whatever it may be is not your idea of a good buy.

I don’t have the ability to train in a gym now, so i like having a black gi that doesn’t show blood and grime as well. My white gi gets washed, im not a filthy animal. I have a Kitsune gi, its held up for the last three years, though I don’t roll in gi as much lately. No real shrinking problems, I wash cold and hang dry. I dont prefer the ripstop pants. Can’t offer any advice for the panda gear, though I believe the pants are cotton twill as well.

I will say though, my brother got these shorts maybe four years ago? In that range? We roll quite often and we don’t go light. The shorts have held up spectacularly and have only now seen some fraying of seams on one of the leg liners. Put some new stitching on it and they are ready to go for more years.
