They’re bit softer than puzzle mats, comparable to wrestling mats. They have a slick type sheath on the top that can be good or bad depending on what moves you’re working on. They’re very manipulatable which is nice if you need the area. You can roll ‘em & stand them on end. All in All I’d Recommended them!! :)
