OK Kimonos Spats

asymmetrical and a guy that is checking in and answering questions? no brainer. bought them to at least support a guy that is supporting the art and the people.

flavors? that is very "A Christmas Story" right there...

these look killer. if i was not dedicated to a family that i am friends with and train with i would be grabbing at least two of these. there are scents that i am very curious about.

i would recommend checking with your academy first, but as George said- most academies are relatively laid back about what to wear. Garry Tonon said it great once though in how you are allowed to wear whatever you wish, but they reserve the right to ridicule you as they wish as well. ;)

this gi is too damn nice to make fun of though.

HoldFast "Sailor Jerry" Rashguard

The fact that Eric Desmond does BJJ and has been doing it for a fair amount of years as well as being a tattoo artist by trade.

Add to this that there are a lot of tattooers doing BJJ thelse days you have part of an answer. But as a whole picture type thing then how does almost any modern thing have to do with BJJ? Rash guards, spats, fitted gi's and more are relatively new and then the different colored gi's and designs overall have nothing to do with BJJ as well.

People like having their own style. Uniforms are cool and all, but the only thing that I really care about happening to BJJ isn't anything about the look but rather it becoming more like TKD.
