Meerkatsu x BJJHQ "Grappling Thing" T-Shirt

If you are A4 or A5 DON'T MISS OUT!!! Got one of these last time and the fit is incredible! Good sturdy gi that feels like a light gi and doesn't shrink (cold wash, hang to dry). I am waiting waiting on the Aurora II ... what are the chances BJJHQ?

Inverted Gear "Arte Suave" Shirt

Mundial 9 would be awesome ... other brands more durable ... pls indicate which! I have three 6-year old Atama Gi's, white blue and black. Trained 6 to 7 times a week, washed them after every session with bleach. Just retired the White one. Blue and Black have been patched and still going, just a little big since I have dropped 50 lb. I have a Gameness about the same age that hasn't been used as much but seems as tough and I know Koral are likely on par, but as for other brands in the single weave range of my Atamas', not sure. Just got the Vulcan Ultra Lite and a 93 brand, but I don't see them lasting the same run.

Please put up an Atama or Koral!!!

I got an A3 and it was far to large, but I am 5'8". I actually used a friends 2 in 1 steam machine and shrank it down considerably, but alas i sold it as it was still too large. It was ordered for me, otherwise would have ordered an A2 as I always do. LOVE THIS GI!!! Even if it was only for a couple of weeks! Now my student loves this gi!

5'11" Steven, you should be ok with a 3. You have 3 inches on me which about the difference.

It happens to me when I am on the US side and not Canada (in he event that your are a Canadian!). All the info is correct, but you have to go up and change to Canada (top right hand corner). Hope that helps ... though it is far too late by now ...

Yes they shrink. I had one of the first ones out there years ago as a demo. It felt great, had the built in rashguard and all, good thick tough gi, but the jacket shrank down and I am not all that long in the arm. Still being used at our gym as a loner, so it was a tough made gi, but the shrinkage was akin to the Boes or low-end BJJ Adidas ones. I had hoped this had improved but have had people tell me at comps (I ref) that it is still an issue. But for what 60$ ... if you are careful to only wash in cold and stretch once out of machine, hand to dry ... they do make a sturdy product.

I bought this gi last winter, but an A3. I was able to shrink it to fit since I lost a bunch of weight. Amazing fit, amazing feel. Tempted to buy it again.

The pants are really confortqble, actually didn't realise they are rip stop.

I'd give a thumbs up on this gi.

I've had the black one for well over a year and it it's still a perfect fit. Surprised to hear of shrinkage issues.

The light one has certainly shrunk but that was more the pants.

I was concerned when I got it because it was a perfect fit. Washed it in cold and hung to dry, no shrinkage. I've used it well over a dozen times and it still fits perfect.
