Venum Challenger 2.0 Black Gi
Has anyone else had a problem with the sizing of the pants in the venum gi's?
I bought the absolute 2.0 a few weeks ago in an A3. I'm like an A2 in the body and an A3 in arm and leg length. After checking the sizing charts and all the measurements and comparing them to my other gi's the A3 seemed to measure up.
The top feels good, after a few washes depending on shrinkage the sleeves may creep up a little like others have on me, but it should be ok.
The pants are already a little short straight out of the bag (even though the sizing chart shows that they should be long enough easy) but the main thing is I can barely even fully squat down in them before they become tight. Even another guy at the gym who has all A2 gis and fits them all fine, can't squat down in them properly?

93 Brand Hooks 2.0 Gi
My A2L grey goose shrunk quite a bit, both in the arms and legs, so i sold it to a shorter guy at the gym because of it.
But it was after a 3 day training camp where we would train for a couple hours in the morning then go back and wash it in cold water straight away then i would hang it out in the 40 degree perth sun to dry which only took about 3 hours, then I would go and train again that evening and then wash it again and hang it back outside to dry that night. so 3 days out in the hot sun didn't do it any favors. It probably shrunk at least an inch and because i have long arms and legs it was already pretty much on the limit to start with.
I also have an A2L TAU, I have been really careful with it and only cold wash it and dry it inside. it has probably only shrunk about 10-15mm during the last 7-8months I've had it and is still exceptable in length, though I'm constantly parniod it will shrink more as it is on the limit for me, but really shouldn't after this amount of time (probably worn it around 15 times) and so many washes if i keep doing what I'm doing. It is still one of my favorite gi's, overall fits well and is nice and soft. No real problems with durability, though i did notice a little bit of the material starting to pull away a tiny bit around one of the side split of the top, which I will keep my eye on.
I want to try the hooks gi at some stage as i think it would be pretty good value for money, and will start recommending it to all the new guys as a good choice for a first gi.
But back to hot wash and machine dry, i would be very careful unless it is already a fair bit too long for you. Even then I would start with a cold wash and do short stints in the dryer to begin with just to see how much it starts to shrink.

Inverted Gear Blue Panda 2.0 Gi
Hey Eti, I have a bit of a problem with arm and leg length with my gi's.
I'm about 182cm tall and about 82kg. my body suits more of an A2 but my arms and legs are more like A3 but even then alot of A3 are short in the arms.
I recently bought a tatami sub zero A3 which is 175cm across the arms and 100cm down the legs which fits about perfect, but i would still like the body and the waist a bit smaller.
I also have a 93brand Tau in an A2L which fits good in the body but has slowly crept up in the sleeves a bit much over the last few months as i wash it (probably around a dozen washes and always cold and hung inside) but it started out spot on so i had no shrinkage to play with, where the tatami was maybe a fraction long and has only shrunk a tiny bit over maybe the 10 washes it's had. So I'm still searching out the A2.5 sizes to see if i can find a better fit.
How does the inverted Gi stack up to these measurements?

Venum Challenger 2.0 Black Gi
Yes same thing, pants are unusable. I'm probably just going to sell mine (for next to nothing, as no one will pay much for a random pair of pants) to someone at the gym maybe. The only person they seem to fit ok so far is a new petite Asian girl who I'm guessing would normally be about a size A1.
The top I'm probably just going to use with a pair of old white pants I have (top is navy blue), but in all I feel like I've wasted a fair bit of money.
